Public Transport Transfers

Public Transportation from Phuket Island

Taxis from Phuket airport can take you to the local Bang Rong pier on the East Coast of Phuket. (prices vary, usually upwards of 500 THB).

From Bang Rong pier regular local ferries can take you to Manoh pier on Koh Yao Noi. The public boats (longtail & speed boats) can be fun for the more adventurous, or travel-savvy, guests & are becoming more reliable. Remember though, that this is public transportation & so boats can be crowded & comfort levels may not meet your expectations. The longtail boats are usually 150 THB per person & the speedboats are 200 THB.

You will then need a local ‘taxi’ (Tuk Tuk) to take you either all the way via the unmade road behind the resort (not for the feint hearted), prices start from 800 THB per car, one way. A ‘taxi’ can also take you to Tha Khao (Ta Kao) pier, where a local longtail boat will need to be sourced to take you the 25 minutes to the resort’s pier. Prices would be negotiated at the time.
